After giving His life for the redemption of the world, the Lord Jesus, ascended to sit at His Father‘s right hand as the head and leader of His body, the church. His plan to spread the message of His saving gospel throughout the world is through His body and its individual members. Jesus left the world, but in His place He sent the Holy Spirit, not to walk with a few, but to indwell, lead and empower everyone who believes in Christ.
In our gathering as a church, Jesus is present to speak through each one assembled in order to build-up, stir-up and bind-up one another “until we all attain to the measure of the statue that belongs to the fullness of Christ.”
In daily life, each believer is a straw in the broom of God’s mercy as he sweeps the Earth, leaving no nook or cranny untouched.
Jesus’ grand plan unleashes a tidal wave of mercy doers, saved, indwelt, empowered, and led to walk daily in the good works for which we were created in Christ Jesus.
This is the madness of our Lord’s method that speaks so clearly through the New Testament scriptures as our ears are attuned to hear His voice.
